Game Graphics Help
I am pretty new to this, but was wondering if anyone could help with techniques or tutorails that might help me recreate similar graphics in the style of the remixed version of Toki http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=owQg9CRJgN0
I am mainly interested in the ground, rocks, plants etc and cannot figure out how to go about creating something similar?

Well, perhaps you could create a rock in 3ds Max, texture it with an appropriate diffuse map, apply it in normals with CrazyBump, and then render it all out in a toon shader as a .png asset to your game?

It's really all in the shading and the color choice, you have to have those down lock. Really try and observe their style in that game, and try to take as much out of it as you can.
