Neither of us are into talking to people at length online or over the phone. Also his typing is completely retarded. He's the kind of guys who uses ellipses...constantly.................instead of commas or new..................sentences.

Well, as a male I can say that never trust a man. He obviously have his own motives, and you should be aware of it. Not saying that you shouldn't meet him, just be aware that most things he say or do are to manipulate, but if you are already on your mind with "just be friends", then there is probably nothing to fear (the problem appear when you also want something).
