I think you'll find that a "normal" place is where people do care but don't know enough about Manga to distinguish it anyway. I do indeed live in such a place... But the proper manga community as a whole? Yeah, they don't mind. There just isn't really that much quality Yuri out there.

Come to think of it, nobody has mentioned Nana yet. I haven't read it, but the artwork looks pretty damn fine and the themes seem to be there. Wiki says it's Shojo, through, so yeah.

Oh god, Yaoi and Yuri is supposed to be kinda smutty. Shounen Ai and Shoujo Ai are the love versions...

Nana isn't yuri at all... yes there is some smut-ish stuff but its not yuri :l
Yuri and Yaoi confuses me, When i was watching strawberry panic no one ever showed a guy so i was like do guys not excist there? or is it just mainly lesbian people? It's so confusing.
