Skyward Sword is quite different to the other Zelda games in terms of dungeon structure, actually. You generally have the area beforehand requiring you to overcome a series of challenges to get to the dungeon, then a puzzle in several parts to open the door to that dungeon, which teaches you how to use the first of your new items, then the dungeon itself, which is generally fairly short but forms a cohesive whole where you have to use the first item and the second together to make it to the boss. Then the boss will require you use the second item to kill it.

It's quite a bit more complex than the older Zelda games, which went GO TO DUNGEON USE LAST DUNGEONS ITEMS TO GET NEW ITEM USE NEW ITEM TO FINISH DUNGEON AND KILL BOSS. The overworld is much more challenging than in most, which is probably because there's only one town that acts as a hub.

Really like it so far, anyway. I'm in the desert, trying to power up the generator for the Temple of Time.

It's not much harder, I haven't died much, but progress is quite a struggle at times, and some of the puzzles are pretty damn hard.

Yeah I got legitimately stumped at some places. That being said the water temple in this game was actually fun as opposed to oot's water temple which seemed like an effort to get you to quit the game and go kill yourself.

Is me or Zelda is the classic stereotype of the japanese women who live for her man?
