I am going to try to start making a series, (just for fun) and if anyone would be interested in helping, pm me, or if you can't (forget what my privacy settings are on now) email me at snowb400@gmail.com. I'll put up the plot tomorrow.
It's tomorrow Now! So basically, what I have so far(if you have any suggestions, I might change it) is that, when Earth was still a young planet, and the collision that formed the moon occurred (never mind, too early to be believable, from the collision that wiped out the dinosaurs), a few bits of debris, carrying life from Earth, floated to a planet which had an atmosphere, like ours, but with a smaller ozone layer. So as the bacteria settled on this planet and began evolving, a humanoid species was formed, however, due to the lower concentration of ozone, the solar rays/UV rays started to change the species' DNA, and due to a slight axial tilt, the day on which you are born decides what kind of powers you will have. I'm planning to have the main character be born on the summer solstice. The manga would start with three or four panels on the asteroid leaving Earth, one or two panels on the bacteria, and then skip to the evolution of humans in 2 or 3 panels, and then the main character's birth to emphasize his birthday on the summer solstice, and then skip to him being 12 or so, from where the actual adventure begins.
