Lucia tried opening the door, but it was locked, so she kicked in.
SPOILER! :
Lucia heard neither shuffling nor moaning, implying either a lack of zombies, or the world's quietest zombies.
Or that Lucia may be going deaf.
Lucia tried opening the door, but it was locked, so she kicked in.
SPOILER! :
MIGHTY BOOT ENGAGED.
Lucia kicked down the door revealing a study of sorts. 15 by 30 feet, abouts, and with the walls lined with bookshelves. On the other end of the room was a desk. Everything was covered in dust and cobwebs.
Well, Mishkala knew this, because she had darkvision. But the rest of the group couldn't see shit because what little moonlight came in through the windows didn't reach this side of the house, obviously.
You guys didn't mention who's carrying a torch. Also I'll do a map when you explore more. Not gonna fight with Imgur, which is loading slowly, just over one more room.
Lucia pulled out a Sunrod, Titian had apparently gave her one on the way over, and struck it against the wall.
Mishakala didn't wait for the others before rooting through the room, but the drider showed her apprehension pretty clearly by humming a myraid little ditty. No way would she admit to them how scared she really was. That would just be too pathetic.
~A drow that can't leave the house without a nursemaid to hold her hand every step of the way.~ Inside her head, that dry little song had lyrics. ~Pathetic pathetic pathetic pathetic~...
Uneasily and with haste, she began to work through the shelves for any books involving the undead or grafting, and the desk for any stray journals or letters.
SPOILER! :
Titian joined in the search. He looked very scared on the outside and was the same on the inside.
SPOILER! :
Lucy's eyes drenched the room in a pale blue light, making her already-wan face look newly-deceased. As she scanned the room with the others, the shadows cast on the walls seemed to assume unnatural and monstrous shapes.

WHAT DO?
Lucy reached out with her mind and tried to open the trapdoor, probing the depths of her knowledge on traps as she did so...

Probally not the most effective way of helping, with her spidery butt half way up the wall, but eh...
