Hm. Was it one of the Humble Bundles? I remember Isaac being in one of those, and if you pay under the dirt minimum, they don't give you Steam keys with the games.Though I'm almost sure it's redeemable, because you get a link in your email when you purchase your games that leads you back to the page for your games.

All bundles should have something like that. If they don't.. well, that's odd. I'd check your email around the date you got it.
