I'm regretting not buying Binding of Isaac when it was on sale the first million times. But the flash demo of it seems to be pretty good.

But bleg, yeah. 2 was sexelent, and 4Mercs is probally one of the best mecha games out there wholesale. The fact that it is now free is just... Wow.

Mechassault was actually okay, but the basic problem was that the Armoured Core games were always so much better at the arcadey thing. Even Robotech Battlecry, which uses the same engine but sticks you in a transforming fighter, kinda just feels stiff in comparison. In mecha sim games, it's fine; You're supposed to be all stiff and heavy. But not there.

Actually on the fence about AC5 vs Mechwarrior online now, anyway.
