While everyone is cooing about MW3 and Skyrim, I am anticipating the re-balanced, newly polished and expanded UMvC3. So much that this is my facebook profile picture:

All the MW3 hate...the game is pure arcade fun and people have been buying Madden every year since 2000 and before.

Not when it comes to adding new content. MW and Madden are pretty similar on those terms: same basic gameplay mechanics, new modes and options every installment. I'd even argue the gaming culture of MW is leaning more towards athletic competition than video game (not saying video games are sports, just the mentality of the players).

But see, the major difference is Madden makes no attempt to have a storyline, lol. Because it doesn't have to. CoD without a storyline would boil down to finding the quickest way to expend a clip into an enemy as possible.
