Anyone else notice this growing trend in video game advertising?
In other words: there is shrapnel flying everywhere, people dying left and right, demons bursting through floors and ceilings and it's all dubbed to softly sung alternative music...

GOD I CAN'T ENJOY THIS EXPLOSION WITH BITCHES SINGING ME TO SLEEP.
Srsly, though, that trailer is great because it's like a heads up for how broken the jetpack was gonna be in MP.
Jetpacks suck, all I do is use the run plug.
Jetpacks are dominating in slayer right now.
To be fair, Gears of War has been using music like that since Gears 1 was released. Also what the Dark Souls one fits amazingly

Yeah, true. It is a growing trend. I think it started all the way back with Silent Hill, TBH.
And IMO the Dark Souls one doesn't fit at all. That trailer is like an odd one out among the other epic-themed ones
WAT. The music is rad and the game is rad. Just because it's not music that fits the time period this is sort of based around doesn't mean it doesn't work, you know?
