"WAT?!" Gnoryc ran over to one of the untested doors and tried yanking it open. Maybe she went this way or something...
Naturally, the door was trapped. With a mechanical click some manner of trap was triggered, causing a brief but intense fiery explosion.
If the Kunoichi was behind that door, she was either still ethereal or had gotten too far away. Still, too more doors. Although really if she was ethereal she could have slipped through the floor or ceiling even, provided she could move far enough to get within open space in six seconds.

Just to be ready, Karin prepared a maximized magic missile. As soon as Mai was visible, she was in for some hurting.
