Eros was a little discouraged but still smiling. Her toasted heiny seemed to regenerate all by itself, even, whenever she got into one of those smoochy daydreams about a certain loverboy titanic dragon of endless torture and dispair. Walking around in wee wee probally should have bothered her, too, really, but all she really appeared was perhaps a bit cold.

When she played with Gnoryc's cheeks like a puppy, it strangely made him feel pretty good too...

"Come here, Eros. I've got another job for you."

Karin knew that the little blonde had no idea that she was just the group punching bag. She could also heal herself, so no worries if a trap was sprung. Too bad Gnoryc caught onto the fact that a door is a trap. It was fun while it lasted.

Taking out the key Karin pointed to the part of the key that goes into the lock and said as if she were talking to a small child,

"You see this part here? Put this end into this hole. You twist it this way until the door is able to be opened. Then you can open it and look inside very first."

Hopefully the little blonde understood what she was told. Karin didn't want to have to explain this more than once and she wasn't quite sure if she could explain it in a simpler way. It wasn't easy being smarter than the rest of the party combined.

Eros looked at the head of the key whilst holding it upsidedown, held it up and looked down the shaft, then over to the lock on the heavy doors before them, confusedly.

"...Am I... the boy?" She squeeked. It was like watching a dog being given a plate of vegitables. Suddenly, she embraced some of the empty hand cuffs she had brought along and examined them thuroughly. The big key Karin gave her, funnily enough, did not fit inside one of them. "...These open?..."

"...Erm... no?..."

It took her several moments to even remember the door existed again.

"...Ah... Sorry... princess honey-hair, ladyeesheep darlin'... Didn't you want something?... ('^_^')"

It took a full ten minutes in the end. And even then, Karin had to put the key in the door for her and then run away whilst telling her to turn it...

The door, unsurprisingly, was magically trapped, exploding outwards about Eros in a mix of fire, electricity, and cold.

Still, the door opened.

The vault was a rectangular room about 50x35 feet. There were mounds ankle high of coins of various metals along the walls, with chests filled with other riches atop them. Score! A single small grate in the ceiling leading all the way up to the surface, apparently, was clearly illuminating about 10 feet in the center of the room and providing dim, but sufficient light to the rest.

Maybe there were some useful magic items in the chests, or under the coins? Therion wouldn't mind them using it as long as they didn't break it before they got it to him. Besides, they'd have to take account of everything, anyway. Although given that only Fitha and Karin were remotely literate and able to keep records, the task would no doubt fall on them. Of course, they could always fudge the record. Keep a little extra for themselves to present to Therion and gain His favor.

Eros takes 6 fire damage, 1 electric damage, and 3 cold damage. I don't think she has any resistances so the energy types are unimportant and in total she just takes 10 damage.

"Eros and Gnoryc, open the chests so we can see what's inside. Fitha, get ready to take inventory."

The grate seemed like a strange thing to have in a room like this. If this room was so hard to find, why was there a grate in here and where in relation to the town was the grate located on the surface.

Eros started opening chests at random, pretty stary-eyed about the idea of giving all these 'shiny circles' to her dashingly lovely torturous overlord of sexy death.

As soon as Eros has opened one of the chests, the doors slammed shut on their own, the room feeling colder.

Oh, and then a screaming, ghost-thing appeared by Eros. Oh, and it was on fire.

Great.

The area in the yellow circle is the light area. Everywhere else is dim lighting. The dim lighting wont affect your ability to see the ghost or hit it though since it is kind of on fire and making its own light. MAYBE IT HAS SOME OTHER EFFECT? HEY LISTEN. WATCH OUT. HELLO.

Nothing like running right into some light. Maybe it had some ability that could help Karin out.

Even if it didn't, the heat from the sun felt pretty great.

But yeah. Time to take this ghost down. Karin decided to hit it with a magic missile.

The cackling ghost-thing slammed a spectral hand into- fairly literally - Eros, sapping her vitality and burning her all at once.

The Ghost ignores AC for its touch attack. Eros takes 10 damages. Half the ghost's damage is fire, which only matters for Fitha and, I think, Karin. I forget how Resistance whichs he has perma-cast on herself works. If it's saves or energy damage.

To facilitate posting, here is some info since I have to run out later for some errands and possibly friends.
The Ghost's AC is 20 and he has a 50% chance to ignore physical attacks unless the weapon is magic. When the ghost takes 47 damage from where he is now, stop posting because A Thing Will Happen. Also if Eros tries to move away he will attack of opportunity her. Just re-roll everything I rolled here.
