step by step???

1. Upload pic

2. Get the 'direct link', or URL for your image
(this can usually be done by right-clicking your image and selecting 'Copy Image Location'.

3. Paste it between the [img][/img] tags in your post
(you have to either write those out yourself or click the little tree icon in the post editor)

4. (optional) Preview your post to make sure the image appears correctly

5. Post!

upload image in a site or in your profile/gallery.
right click over the image.
copy the url of the image.
when you post there is a option where you can see a tree in a frame, click it and paste the url (right click or control + v)
done.

ok peoples im having newbie difficulties!
ok so i got one of my pics onto the galllary right but i cant get it on a forum!
why is this?? when i post it all i get is-

Be more specific about what have you done to paste the picture to the forum.

I managed to get it but it's kinda big. You can right click that pic and click "Copy image location" or you can upload it as a smaller size here. Then use the img tags on the image location/url. It should work.
