Oh, also talked with a portugese guy who was pretty cool. Somehow we got onto programming talk and I was surprised how much he knew for someone who hadn't done any sort of formal training in it (I have a C in Computer Science because the second-year project was boring as shit and required far too much work for what it was worth; if that project didn't exist I'd have an A or B+. It was worth the same amount as 5,000 words is in English but required about 5,000 LINES OF CODE PLUS DOCUMENTATION PLUS TESTING DATA). Anyway, he was complaining about visual basic being taught in school rather than C or C++ and said that only really boring jobs use VB. So I pointed out most of the jobs in the industry are boring. :P

Speaking of the industry, if you're a graphic designer, is it true you can make like 40K with a highschool dimploma?
No idea. But I do know that if you're a senior concept artist you get about 40k+ a year in general. With graphic design it all depends on your clients.

Wow good thing you're so social and happy otherwise that could be taken seriously haha. So memorizing formulas for Chemistry is not nearly as hard as everyone says, provided you're interested in it. Amnesia and Penumbra have chemistry elements, and that spiked my interest higher than it already was what with dangerous compounds known to kill men on contact and all the safety precautions adding to the face of peril.
