No, it's hard, but is not impossible. It has some enemies that are annoying, others that are absurds and others that look badass but if you are smart you can kill them easily.

It isn't too hard once you know what you're doing, but it requires some trial and error. You will die, and that will help you figure out what not to do next time. The point of the game is that you fail repeatedly and learn from that.
It is ball-breakingly difficult on occasion. I'm looking at you, Capra Demon.

So should I go to blight town or new london ruins? Also I think I haven't gone to deep in darkroot basin (I haven't fought the alligator cats = allicators).

Blight town scares the shit of out me.
At the moment I haven't die and most of the time the enemies die by them selfs in this place, but man, this is so scary (if I have a long fight in one of the moving bridges I will shit myself).
Edit: This is retarded, I have to fight against some spit fire demons, while a guy throw me poisoned arrows and some insects fly to me to attack me.
