What's your favorite movie and why?

So I'm not sure if this thread has been created long ago in the past.. but anyways, I am always on the hunt for awesome movies that I haven't seen before, so whatevs.

Post your favorite movie(s) and why you like it so much.

Here is one of my favorites:



Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind! I like it because the characters are believable and quirky, but it has a cool sci-fi-ish concept. I also love the cinematography of it.

Fight Club, just because was the first movie that show me how a movie could be something more than bad writing.

I have to agree with Masooo and Tora. I also have to say all three LOTR's and Avatar (The James Cameron one).

Hmmm... V for Vendetta. Or The Dark Knight... or 7 pounds, maybe Taken? I don't know haha there are too many good ones. I haven't heard of some of the ones everyone's said so I'll have to go check them out =)
