Hi these are my first submissions here....



This was just a first draft of my fanfiction character Ryu of breath of fire III..
done in Ms Paint

and this is the lineart done in PhotoShop CS2..



Painful 4 hours using the pen tool... (harsh)

Sorry don't have color yet... All demeaning, harsh comment are welcome...(i think)
need critiques... What do you think about it? any thing wrong about proportions or anatomy please tell me.. need to improve...

Oh and can anyone tell me a art software that has a curve tool? or anything mouse friendly... don't have tablet....

For a draft it's pretty well constructer, simple and gives a good structure for the final art.

It's a pretty good piece of art too, I like the way he wield the sword. But his left arm look too thin, you could put a little bit more of muscle there because comparing with the arm that holds the sword the lefts arm seem to be weaker.
Well, it's still a good piece of art, clean and simple trace makes thing a lot easier when creating the final art. =]

Thanks... do you happen to know any software that has a curve tool? its kinda hard using a mouse... and
don't have a tablet (darn it)... and I'll work with the left arm so thanks...

Hmm, I don't have a tablet either (but I dream with it xD).

The software I use to work on my drawings is the Photoshop, but I just use it to paint. I sketch on the paper and them scan and work on it in the computer =\

What software you use?
