I've messed around with VX and XP myself a little... Definitely XP is the better one, even if VX is potentially a bit more powerful - there's a new version being translated to English currently though, that is reportedly an improvement on both. In terms of scripts and things there's not a lot going for it right now, but a lot of the more popular ones seem to be in the process of a port. Might be worth holding off it until it's released in English - unless you've already done a lot of work.

Oh, thank you! We're still in the writing stage, so RPG Maker VX Ace is a must-have for our project! In fact, we may just release it for iOS and Android products! Thank you guys. Comments like these really mean a lot to me and encourage me to try and do even cooler stuff!

I like your faces especially those of old men......i am weird....anyways. You've got good ideas and bad proportions. One thing that is noticeable is that you (like i used to ) draw loooooong skinny people with small hands. Id work on that.

RPG Maker VX Ace is the latest one. I have no idea what more it does.

Anyway, I'd love to play an RPG and use a piece of toast in combat. You should post a demo or alpha build sometime.
