Own it. One of my favorite intros going and some cool mecha battles, but the main characters can be kind of flat (They were much too stoic for me to relate to any of them, even if it was intentional.)

Every ending to Evangelion -still- mindfucks me to no end.

I sorta get them. The whole creating new universes in your head thing (Shinji is god at this point, so there is no difference between daydreams and reality). But, eh. I'm still pretty sure Anno wanted it to be intentionally confusing aswell.

What really dicks me off is when a director just 'pulls and eva' because it's like tradition at this point. At that point it's only a mindfuck because it doesn't actually mean that much. Like there is some massive life dilemma that the viewer already knows the answer to. The Rahxephon movie, Generator Gawl, and I'm pretty sure Eureka Seven did this...

Im still meditating on the Ending of Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica...
I love how i was fooled into believing it was a sunny-happy-friendship-unicorns-rainbows-and-ribbons anime......And the fact that im having a love-hate dilemma on the whole story.....especially the ending.
