So I'm going to watch Fang of the Sun Dougram and Getter Robo (Let's see if I can get past the getter's look).
I watched a bit of Dougram a while ago, but I've still never gotten back to it. It's quite an interesting show. I don't think it's as refined as Votoms was, but the way the story seems to focus on the power struggle within its world's ruling family felt quite unusual for a mecha series.
Supposedly Dourgam gets much better later on, but I haven't seen all that much either. Perhaps it just comes across a little dreary because of the whole "doomed from the start" thing. The mecha designs are actually by the same guy as the original Gundam, too, so there is alot of weird familiarity in there.
Ok so that's why those things in ep one are not-zakus.
I'm watching apparently another harem or w/e called Shuffle like I was expecting I was gonna hate it but then the main character was all "Hmmm maybe I should go for it since your dad's out of town," and I was all "waaaaaaaaaaaat I wanna keep watchin dis he soundz liek mii"
That was one of the first anime shows I watched (after I knew what anime was).
Oh is it not actually good? Cuz just having a badass harem protagonist isn't really enough to grip me
It gets very DRAMA at the end.
Don't know if I would consider it good.
Do you like comedy turning to drama?
