I just finished Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica, and it blew my mind. Shaft really outdid themselves this time; just amazing.

Sorta a necro-objection here, but got an overwhelming urge to say; Isn't a good story part of a good anime aswell? >_>

I mean, of course, it sucks when they just choose to replicate the story frame-by-frame, esspecially if it's an action anime that had little plot in the first place (Hellsing and Gantz suffer from this alot)... But alot of things like Appleseed have been truely buggered up by simplifying the plot "Just 'cause it's anime."

Seriously, they turned it from a buddy cop show into a faux-matrix kung fu flick. >_>

I want to watch Ergo Proxy but I never watch beyond episode 1. >_<

Ergo proxy is pretty decent, chum. Very cerebral and great characterisations, but being 100% honest it does have a couple of completely pointless navel gazing episodes. I'd say watch it if you don't generally mind Eva-style mindscrews.

this is the episode 15 where black jack needs to marry his patient to rise her will to live.
