Because it was effing great. Not to mention the awesome CGI for the time it was made. I actually liked this more than most of the animated movies. Although not as violent, it didn't display that wuss emo Spawn, in this he was a total gun-toting badass out for revenge.
I'm still pissed cause McFarlane promised a Spawn 2...like 12 years ago.

I know, but wasn't a good movie. I also love Spawn, specially when I was a younger, and in that time the movie was awesome, but being more old I can see a lot of flaws on it and there are MANY better movies.
I know it has its flaws, but I'm not a critic, I can't knock it for all that's wrong. It's not fixable. But I STILL love that freaking movie, I'd watch it daily if I had a VCR (cuz I still have the VHS lol).
ok, let's do a experiment, for a month you should watch Spawn every day, after the moment we will see if you are still alive or not.
I may have done that once when it came on TV nearly every day for about 2 weeks...I watched every day, hyped. Can I borrow a VCR from anybody?
