Yooo Ego, glad to see you're still around and about. Awesome painting, love the lighting and depth of field effect going on in the background. Gives it a nice atmosphere, and feeling of distance.

Been working on just blocking out the main composition as quickly as possible before I start rendering... so critique on the composition and lighting would be ideal.

Very nice man, you're getting really good with your backgrounds. I really like the second one. My only suggestion would be to make the foreground darker and less saturated. There's still a lot of saturation in your color scheme which is fine if you want to emulate a rainy or otherwise humid day, but not so much for a sunny day.
