THIS makes me sad
but we don't see much of that either
the part about manga is beyond just a reversed comic is another argument unrelated to the first.
Of course styles that ignore osamu influences can still be counted as manga.

no one ever said people on this site "only" need to draw in osamu influenced style with the big round eyes and the stereo typical anime look, but don't you find it funny that the vast majority draws...

Haha if you get caught up in this you will end up like me never able to finish a drawing. Just keep going.
sounds very similar to me, except It feels like I have given up on art all together
because it is hair you want a more gradual change in the curve as I illustrated.
maybe I am wrong but I think yours has too many parts that curve suddenly instead of a gradual curve....
