I speak a little spanish so I enjoy spanish pop and latin music. The rhythm and beats are so fresh I can't help but dance in my seat, and the language is very fun to sing.
I guess the thing about most songs we don't understand is that we can enjoy the tone, rhythm, instrumental sounds, and all other musical pleasantries without having to worry about what the song actually means. We just listen to the music, not what is said in it.
Being foreign is relative to where you're from and where you stay. Either way, to most of the world you're foreign.
^wut?!
Anyway, I'm from India too, there are loads of languages here, some that I do understand and some that I don't. I generally listen to any song from any language as long as its good. Mostly Japanese (from anime soundtracks). Most other languages I listen to them when I stumble or when someone else asks me to coz its good.
Oh, speaking of Indian music, I like Panjabi MC. Yet, I think he's of British nationality. XD
Oh yeah, he's british-indian. I don't listen to punjabi music at all. They're good to dance to at parties and stuff.
French band. Though singing in English.

Heck, seriously? Which city do you live in? I live in Bangalore.
On topic, I really like songs from Eufonius, UVERworld, etc. I listen to mostly slow songs.
I really don't understand many Indian languages though. Heck, I don't think there's an Indian language I know fully. Being forced to learn languages against your will sucks.
