Cloudy Big Hip Edition

Oh your style is great! Some of the clothing designs are really interesting and you have to love those hips! The wolf is really well drawn too.

I agree with what others have said before me, it looks really nice :)

I don't know anything about this character and the wolf, you seem to have your own story there, but just from looking at the design it is not that far away from princess mononoke. If you want to put it in your portfolio you should try to make it so that it won't read as fan-art. So for the background I would suggest that you make something that doesn't look like anything from the movie. Maybe a cityscape (clean, overgrown, ruins) or something. You probably know something that will fit and still not read as mononoke :)

lol as soon as someone does a big dog and girl side by side they scream Princess Mononoke, I do understand what you mean but fortunately my character looks nothing like her, I was thinking ruins so that's a good suggestion.

@rayiles: LOL I dunno man xD she's a messenger girl from the wilds they call them Wolf Messengers their wolves are a giant breed of dog that they can ride, I guess I felt the hat was fitting hehe.

That's really pretty! The wolf's paw on the ground seems like it should be back more. I really like the composition, and I think you did quite a good job.

well it is awesome although...
the (great) shading of the wolf doesn't add up with the shading of the girls skin. The shading on the girl is ok but her skin doesn't look affected with the same light source as the lets say shoulder pads. Also the wolf looks way more realistic then the girl and thereby adding to the mismatching. And the bg could use a little more details..at least the things in the fore-view where the girl and the wolf are running. Still a pretty GREAT pic cloudy!
