When we're talking of the emoticons. I miss one emotion there. I miss the classical manga "wops" or "Sorry" emote. You know... Hand behind head, sweat drop, closed eyes and either a D or a P mouth.

Emoticons aren't that different from chibi emotions, or maybe it's really called emoticons... err.. I don't know.
I referenced some of the emoticons in this forum before... to create the cute chibi emotions
I mostly use this though
Guys I recommend you take a look at this.
It's great reference in general, but for the competition I would suggest just picking one or two emotion from each branch (red yellow green blue and purple). Even if you don't actually use an expression from there, it can give you ideas. :cat_thumbsup:
WWWWWOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!! you just blew my mind. that is a really cool facial expressions chart!
TL;DR!!!! I hate reading too long stuffs!
I read that one awhile back. When I can't find photo reference of an emotion, I'll usually go to that.
I see, well I like to read more reference less talk types of books, but I might try that somehow.. err.. I think...
The text with each picture just explains what changed to make that expression, by the way. It's not a hard read.
I just finished reading it, well... not all I suppose...
But keep in mind that the direction of every line does changes when the head angle changes as well.
Come on come on I can't wait for it to start :cat_tantrum:
