Drummers know that they are hard to come by and tend to be dicks around here. Since most live places won't let you play without one they can make demands and stuff. As for singers and guitarists, they are a dime a dozen so if they do have an ego they can hit the road.

Everyone wants to be the next Jimmy Hendrix, or Robert Plant or whatever.

Yeah, in my experience drummers and bassists are in more demand, so tend to be able to get away with being dickier than vocalists or guitarists. Except for me, because I don't know any other singers who have my range and power, because I'm a trained opera singer. Living in buttfuck, nowhere we have a really tiny pool of really good musicians.

I would love to use Sam perminatly, but he's in like, three other bands already. As I said, drummers are in serious demand here.

But overall, I'd say guitarists and vocalists can have mega egos, because we tend to be the ones in the spotlight and stuff.

Yeah, that's true. I didn't really think about it in terms of availability of those musicians.

I gave up on trying to start one, and started trying to get into one.

I can't use instruments...I'm don't have any musical talent. :/ lol

Annd I think that's all.. I can play some bits and pieces of most major metallica songs, some pantera, slayer, ozzy, and who knows what else. I've had a guitar for as long as I can remember, just never took it seriously till earlier this year. Most of those songs, are just me strumming the accoustic singing horribly too XD
