You can download Autodesk products for free, as a student. My teacher got us all the programs licence for 3 years. Everything for free zomg! If you have animation or something, ask a teacher to do it!

That seems pretty dubious. Not sure you should be letting people register with a school that is no theirs.

If you want to learn to use 3D tools like softimage, you can just get the modtool, which is free, but doesn't allow it to be used for commercial products.
