Tips/ trics for my way of drawing?

Ok i tried a new drawing.. I am still not sure about the feet and hands.

I think, before you get into learning how to render and shade and draw clothing, you really need to sit down and study anatomy in detail. Probably the best people to look at are Andrew Loomis and Vilppu, and I think you should also try and gather up a nice amount of photo references. Here are some links that will help you:

The best thing to start with is Fun with a Pencil. You may be like "wtf this style is old as shit why does she expect me to learn from this". It will help you get used to drawing and 3d shapes, and get used to proportions in general no matter the style. Then pretty much just go in order with the books.

Glenn Vilppu is another godly teacher when it comes to learning anatomy and stuff. Heres his drawing manual, but I STRONGLY suggest looking for a torrent of his videos. He goes way into detail on each body part in his anatomy videos, and then his gesture videos are super helpful as well.

The stuff Toast linked you is very good. I especially love "Fun with a pencil", I've read it cover to cover at least three times :P

I'm glad to see more underlying thought in the lines in your latest drawing than the previous, it looks a lot better just because of it =)

its good to see that u have worked on your lines :)
and those links by toast pretty much cover everythin.
so a general thing to note would be that females have wider hips compared to males. (personally i find curvy figures much more attractive :p)

Tried to apply a few things of the ´fun with a pencil´. I drew the basic forms first then the details.
Still working on shading..

Badass! :D that design looks great! All I can say is that the right arm is bulgy, which looks a bit odd. Try to make it a bit more angular rather than rounded, that may solve the problem. Also the legs look like boxes, he is wearing trousers however there would still be slight variation. Finally the upper arm of the left arm is thin, if his whole arm has been converted then just ignore this but if he still has his upper arm try to make it the same thickness as the right :) Other than that, keep up the good work :D

So did two new drawings. Only still working on the shading.. The first snake looking guy still needs improvement. But how can i get the lines less rough.. Trying to do my best at straight lines, sometimes goes rong.... Eraser isnt doing it job sometimes :P.. Plz give me your crits :P:P

I really like the guy in the previous post and the snake-man in the last.
For better linework and easier erasing, use the side of your pencil for the first passes of your sketch. Only use the tip when you refine it in the last pass. The tip of the pencil leaves a physical mark in the paper as well as graphite, and you can't erase the mark. The side of your pencil hardly makes a mark in the paper at all, so it is much easier to erase.

Also try using a light (soft) pencil for your initial drawing, as its easy to rub out, and doesnt leave as much of an indentation. once you're happy with your final lines, you can use a harder pencil to effectively "ink" the picture. I love the eyes of that last girl, they're really well done. I feel like her top/dress is a bit too busy with folds, especially the sleeves - considering the sleeves are big enough to be hanging off of her arm, there shouldnt be those pinch folds near the shoulder. The snake guy looks awesome :D
