Yeah, it's best to start out with line art before you add color into the mix. It's a whole other level of skill. D:

I've seen the Jian Guan one on Dominance War, which is a cool site to check out. It's basically the best CG artists around the world competing on monthly themes.

I feel like I could look at these pictures a million times and stil find something new!
