I'd probably just take everything I need/want and sail the high seas on a ship made of quarters, and solidified stacks of 100 dollar bills with a harpoon minigun mounted in the front with 360 swivel support.
Or make a new continent with a massive statue of me suspending the land mass high above sea level.

Do you mean, if currency lost its value entirely or if it was no longer used.? I'm pretty sure if no one used a type of currency anymore people would freak out and start smashing stuff and stealing. It might get pretty crazy.
