I'm not looking for downright that-my-friend-is-adults-only. I was just wondering if anyone knew of a tutorial for slightly more provocative poses. I find that my mirror doesn't really help me in this instance.

I have done searching on my own without much luck. Hopefully, I won't get in trouble for this. o_o;

Read lots of ero manga. What can I say?

There are particular things manga artists do to hyper accentuate the sexuality of their characters in terms of how things are drawn and postured.

What cyp said, also pictures, photographie and movies. There are a lot of sexual pose references (most of these we have it in our faces the whole time).

Where? What? And I'm trying to avoid the very adult.

All of the manga I've EVER read is either Naruto, Dragon Ball Z, one volume of Bleach and a few pages from Vampire Knight.

www.posemaniacs.com has a lot of poses in this vein - I'd give that a shot.

Kids.

You know that just searching in google "sexy poses" it gave you some good amount of pictures with no penetration or explicit sex (just the pose).

Also I recomendo you to take to a side those mangas while you learn.

Google didn't give me anything. I need to see where everything is, not just a pose. If I could work with just a person, I would use my mirror.

Thank you Nyarlathotep, that is a perfect site. ^^

OK i have link relevant to this discussion, particularly what CypressDahlia mentioned

predictably it has some more risqué arguably pornographic (eg. exposed naughty bits, top and bottom) but has good information on drawing the female form, links to god pinup style reference, what have you.

thing is if i remember the rules (not that i read them all that carefully) some of the material (as stated before) at said link might not be so acceptable here, would i be justified in posting said link?

you could probably message it to me and not get in trouble but I do believe we're pushing the envelope as it is.

@ ladyannette
Will do, though i would still like to have an answer cause it's still a good resource, just not the most NSFW stuff

to clarify what might be wrong with the site, they interview/spotlight artists from time to time, posting their work in said interviews. Let's just say it can be a thin line between pin-up and smut, some artists camp on that line, others define that line very differently. most of the site (well it's more of a blog but anyways) is PG-13 (with most nudity being 'educational'), but theres an interview on the front page that well there's no insertion but it is still pretty easy to call it smut

As long as it doesn't have explicit sexual images or anything, go ahead and post it in a spoiler. If one of us mods check the site and it's too inappropriate, we'll just remove it.

Check the Massive Online Tutorials List (http://www.mangatutorials.com/forum/showthread.php?84-Massive-Online-Tutorials-List-v.3.0). There are a few sites that have nudity and poses. Just look for links that are marked N.

consider the subject dropped. 34/35 posts should be clean enough for MT (nudity is tasteful and/or used as educational material) but there is one post (on the front page no less) that very easily falls into "explicit sexual material". even then out of the two images in said post one is still safe-ish, the other has exposed/spread labia which i've always heard of as being 'sexually explicit'

so yeah i won't post the site, hack i have some reservations on saying why i'm not posting the site here (seriously am i allowed to use those words here)

If you're looking for (naked) anatomy tutorial I think you must have Sarah Simblet - Anatomy for Artist book. But if you're seeking for the poses only, I think posemaniacs is good. But if you want you can use one of my method
