All the students should introduce themselves in here. I want to know what you've learned, how long you've been drawing, and ohter things about you. It helps me know what you need to learn and need help with. :3

My name's PWhit, Peter, Peter Whitney, call me what you want. I've been drawing for about two years and have a critique corner open. You can follow it on my signature. I might upload some more stuff today. I have been experimenting with my Pencil Program and have been drawing digitally some stuff that I use to look over for future reference. I'm trying to upload something but I'm trying to bypass any file corruption. I like my stuff critiqued because I never know what I need to improve with next. If I can at all get some of my stuff on here, you'll be sure to be the first to know.

Just call me LVUER. I've been drawing for I-don't-remember-when, perhaps from the time I can start remember things. But only start drawing seriously 2 years ago. That also the same time I began to learn how-to-color (never bother to do it before). Starting from two years ago, I go full digital for some reasons, and that also means I only have digital coloring experience.

I'm interested in animation and start learning it about one year ago. Though my 2D animation experience is very little (you could see what I've made in my DA gallery -> lvuer.deviantart.com. I also have a bit of 3D animation experience, but that's another story for another time, right? That's it I guess.

Hi all. My name is Rio. Ummm.... I've been meaning to learn animation but never quite had the motivation to follow up on it. Hopefully this will help me get going in finally learning something about it.:ascii_chatty:

Yay. Anywayz, I seem to be one of those ghost people too, still I'll try to check the topic often. Basically I've been drawing for like forever, seriously for abouttt two, three years, learning only from on line tutorials, only for manga and anime. Digital only, I barely can use even coloring pencils right. Signed here cause I was always interested in animation (seems like lots of fun :D ) but was not able to learn much on my on, I know what are inbetweens, and frames.. Yeah. I kind of need someone to guide me and a reason to not give up.:cat_wind:

Hey i'm Umber. I've been drawing since I was 12. I'm currently 18 and am going to school for Animation. Sadly I am stuck in foundational class hell and probably won't have any animation classes for another quarter. So yeah I don't know much aside from what I learned in a quick breeze through in a digital art class in high school.

I'm Matt. I've been drawing seriously for three years and been practicing correctly for about a week--meaning I'm drawing things other than people standing horrifyingly straight and looking at the camera. I'm bad at coloring and I wanna learn to animate stuff. I tried it once in PAP, but that was a year ago, when I couldn't consistently produce the same face. That and my style was disgustingly sketchy (and has been until a few days ago), making animation a pain in the brain.

Eventually, I wanna animate teaser trailers for my anime/game/whatever, putting them to epic music (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u9sImgK06P0) and making it all cool and stuff.

Tools at hand:

>Wacom Intuos4 M tablet
>Windows 7 laptop

>Paint Tool Sai

>3DS Max
>Wings 3D

I hope I'm not too late :O

Hiding under nickname Sekator, my name is Mathew. I actually don't have much experience with art, except some amateur drawing, but I did play with animations whiles back. As I said, the software I got at hand are only freewares - gimp, paint.NET and PAP for 2D, blender for 3D.

@Gedeon - It's not showing up for me. Anyone else not seeing it, or is it just me?

Probably just you. Here's the direct link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=llc1VHaydiI
Try and see if that works instead.
