Hello,

I hope everyone is doing well. My name is Sonny. I actually stumbled onto this site when I noticed that one of the tutorial images from my website was hot-linked here.

So with that, I took some time and explored what this site offered as the thought of doing a manga tutorial did cross my mind.

Granted, I am a veteran artist with a lot of knowledge I can share with everyone.

My philosophy is to create a strong artistic foundation as a means to carry each individual style.

Of course, I am constantly learning myself. However, if you're interested, please ask me anything art related that you are having difficulties with.

I hope I can be of assistance to this community.

P.S. my site that was hot-linked is located at www.2d-digital-art-guide.com

Hey there Sonny, welcome to the site.
I think it'd be awesome if you wrote some tutorials, as you are very talented. If you have any questions/comments/concerns just PM Rio, Jubeh, Hayashida or myself.

Thanks for the warm welcomes. I will be hanging out most of the time in the critique corner as that would be a natural place where I can offer my experiences to motivated artists that wishes to improve their work.

P.S. While practice is important, you still need to practice the right things. After all, you can draw the best stick figures in the world, but if that's all you're ever going to practice on, that's all you will be good at. :)

Hey Gedeon,

I looked at your thread and I think I can assist with your color woes. I will post there if you like as I think I am pretty active already at the critique corner (as promised).

As for tutorials, the priority would be to work on my own lessons on my own site. However, if a lesson is preferred to be placed on this site, I can rewrite/reword some of it...

...if the administrators are OK with that.

Welcome to the site, Sonny. I really like your tutorials - I hope you don't mind if I link to them in our Massive Online Tutorials List (http://www.mangatutorials.com/forum/showthread.php?84-Massive-Online-Tutorials-List-v.3.0&p=3027&viewfull=1#post3027). (If you don't see it there, I will be adding it soon C: )

Thanks, Rio.

This may seem like a silly question but I just have to ask: how do I PM people?

AGH YOUR ART IS AMAZING AND IT BURNS MY EYES WITH AWESOMENESS. <3

Welcome to MT! I'm a little late on all of this hubbub, seeing as you're already out and about helping everyone with your amazing critique skills, but I still figured it would be nice. :)

Thanks, Rio.

Go to Dashboard > My Messages. It's pretty self-explanatory from then on. C:

Also note that people can not answer your PM because all new registrations are created as private. You have to go to your profile and set your account to be able to recieve PMs from people that are not in your friends list. Or you can first add the person as a friend and then send the PM.
