Gonna dump some old stuff here at the start for improvement comparison and whatnot.
2012 - Early
2012 - Late
(There are also three pieces I'll be adding to my C&C thread which I really like, but they're not finished yet/I want to revise them, so I implore you to check those out as well.)

I really like your use of cross hatching!
Wow what an interesting style xD Welcome back to the forums BB. <:
04-02-2013, 12:21 PM
still my favorite
04-02-2013, 09:11 PM
You've got such an original style :3
I really like these the best:
I also love this character--it'd be cool if you drew him again some time :D
I also really like the devil one-you did awesome drawing someone from the back! And the piano rocks!
04-06-2013, 08:45 PM
Ahh, tis good to see your art again C:
05-12-2013, 03:52 PM
Thanks all! I've been busy wrapping up high school, but in the mean time I leave you with these.
05-12-2013, 05:10 PM
I really like the pose and expression of that soldier!
05-15-2013, 12:10 AM
I really like the pose and expression of that soldier!
Thanks! The reason he has that expression is because he and his buddies just ran into this thing:

The reason he has that expression is because he and his buddies just ran into this thing
That's a good reason to have the expression that he does!!!
At first, I thought the T-Rex had a slight mullet or a mohawk
05-17-2013, 01:47 AM
Haha. That's funny, Jorgie! And I'm finally out of high school! Woo!! To celebrate, I have this:
That is certainly an original celebration pic.
05-17-2013, 10:01 AM
Hahaha. Just celebrating summer vacation by drawing people relaxing. Granted, those people are some of my friend's characters, but I felt like drawing them. Killing two birds with one stone. You know?
05-20-2013, 08:46 PM
How quaint c:
10-04-2013, 12:22 AM
Holy shit, it's that one Bacon guy!
Yeah. So. Art.
Proportions are slightly messed up here, I know.
First water color painting, ever.
10-04-2013, 02:49 AM
That first one is sooooo cute!! I love her feet!
Woo! Watercolor! Keep it up!

Unfortunately, I've been very busy at college, so there's not a whole of free time to draw. This is (some) of what I've done since last posting.
First of all, I did the poster for the first year talent show (class of 2017, represent!):
Second, I have a colored version of the prior Godzilla drawing:
Here I have a weird figure drawing-collage from the summer that I wasn't able to scan till recently:
Next, I have a series of nudes from the free figure drawing class that I've been attending. (There are more in my CC thread (http://www.mangatutorials.com/forum/showthread.php?116-BB-s-Crit-Thread-Nudes-galore!&p=160627#post160627).) This is the 1st nude, it was a 20 minute drawing:
This is the 3rd nude, it was a 40 minute drawing. I'm not a fan of how I shaded the eye, but I like it otherwise:
This is the 5th nude, it was also a 40 minute drawing. I personally like this one a lot--it might be my favorite--though I messed up the face a bit:
This is the 6th nude, it was a 20 minute drawing. Unfortunately I ran out of time before I could do the face:
This is the 8th nude, it was also a 20 minute drawing. I personally like this one a fair bit as well, I made her breasts far too saggy though:
Next, we have two drawings unrelated to my figure drawing class. The first is something I did for fun while I was listening to a lot of Panic! at the Disco and was under quite a bit of distress as I started college:
This one is a poster I made for a friend. Drawn on 11x17 Bristol board. Colored with Prismacolor Markers and touched up in Paint.net. Ideally, I'm going to start selling this sort of thing for $5 a pop.
Finally, we have a "before and after" drawing of a character I made up for a contest. The "before" is from January 2011, the "after" is from August 2013.
12-13-2013, 10:47 PM
Hmm. I like the line style on those nudes. It's very unique, not what I was expecting. The proportions seem a little screwy on some of them, but you probably have caught that already.
Pop-art is cool. Like I said, very unique, even for pop art. That last one is really weird, BTW.
12-13-2013, 11:37 PM
Man, I really love the cross-hatching on your sketches!! :)
Good to see you back, BB!
01-28-2014, 11:19 AM
*drops in unexpectedly*
Thanks all! So ... I colored something for once. Got Copics for Christmas and this is my first completed drawing them. Thoughts?
01-30-2014, 07:48 AM
Very cute!! I think you did a nice job with the copics
01-30-2014, 04:02 PM
o cool i saw this on the facebooks and thought it rocked gj bacon
01-31-2014, 11:24 PM
Seems pretty cool. Bonus points for detailed noses.
Nice choice of colours <:
02-17-2014, 12:21 PM
Here's a pic of my girlfriends cats I drew for Valentine's day.
Also, Sonic Boom fan art and Copics practice. More to come, maybe?
I LOVE CATS.
THOSE ARE PRETTY CATS. <3
02-17-2014, 12:37 PM
Those kitties are so adorable!!! :3
02-23-2014, 01:03 PM
The cats are adorable, but the stuff they're laying on is pretty well-detailed too. Your hatching is getting pretty good.
03-04-2014, 02:17 PM
Thanks all. Glad you like the crosshatching. I should do more backgrounds though. (Sort of) Speaking of, here are the pieces from my winter term project which I just realized I never shared. They're all suppose to be "reflections" on different periods in art and are from January of this year.
03-08-2014, 05:24 PM
Okaaaaaaaaaaaaay. Other stuff.
03-08-2014, 07:30 PM
I like the elf guy best
03-08-2014, 08:56 PM
really? i thought the racecar driver was the coolest
03-08-2014, 09:16 PM
I like all of them a lot! As always, love the cross-hatching! The last one almost reminds me of Luffy from One Piece
04-10-2014, 10:14 PM
Thaaaaaaaaaanks guys Anyway, today, Ron fucking Jeremy said I was "talented." I'm giddy.
04-11-2014, 12:34 AM
luckyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy u got 2 meet ron jeremy
04-14-2014, 06:45 PM
Indeed I did!
And here's a random foreshortened leg from today's drawing class.
04-17-2014, 12:13 AM
And here's a slightly more completed drawing. I'd have finished, but I started to feel ill half way through... Spoiled for nudity.
05-11-2014, 01:33 PM
And some other things!
First a commissioned portrait:
And second, just a little something weird:
05-12-2014, 10:29 PM
Hahaha, that elephant's just adorable!! Keep it up!
05-22-2014, 11:51 AM
No context is the best context.
And, erm, kinda hard to comment since a bunch of that new sketchy stuff was not completed, but if you can apply that I can see uber good stuff coming. :o
05-27-2014, 06:50 PM
Did I tell you this already? I love the elephant one. It made me laugh, and I showed everyone in a short radius of me. They liked it too!
06-28-2014, 04:28 PM
Reg:Agreed on the context bit! And yeah, lots of sketchy stuff from classes...
Seefy: That's incredible! Haha. I'm glad you like it so much.
Somehow, I've been busier over the summer then I was in the school year (boo!) and have only just finished some month-old requests. Now that I finally finished them, I feel I can draw for me again. Which is a good feeling. Anyway, here they are.
06-29-2014, 04:02 PM
It looks like you've improved! I really like these!! The first request is probably one if my favorites of yours
07-19-2014, 02:07 PM
Oh really? Thanks. Anyway, here's a singed portrait of Anthony Raneri, the lead singer of my favorite band, Bayside.
Also a little piece of Shaman King fan art.
08-21-2014, 01:03 PM
Jesus, the Artist's Alley is getting slow. Haven't posted in here for like a month and my thread is still near the top ... *coughs* Anyway, some drawings.
First is a piece called "You Can't Make Everyone Happy (Be Aware of Your Limits)".
And some zoo sketches. The first is a baby Fennec Fox.
And Ring Necked Pheasant.

08-23-2014, 09:34 AM
Awesome post!! The one before it is super cool, too! Great hatching and cross-hatching as always!
08-30-2014, 11:28 AM
Great hatching and cross-hatching as always!
Reg seconds this. The lineart style in general is super clean and original. Makes me wonder how actual scenes would look... >_>
