I don't want to sound like everyone else....so I'll just say "ditto." I like that line thing you do...it's really cool!
04-06-2013, 08:55 PM
The drawings with the construction lines underneath always have such a nice look to them, I can't really explain why O_o also I need to see more stuff that was done like the Golum fanart :3
I will also agree with the others^
04-07-2013, 12:09 AM
YES! I still looove my secret santa gift thingy it makes me so happy!! :D I really like your most recent ones - the ones in the same style as the Gollum portrait. MORE! :)
04-07-2013, 11:49 PM
Aw thanks, guys. You're all the best.
Really, for me to do ones like the Gollum drawing I either have to be really inspired or really bored! I will try to either find inspiration or get locked in the basement so I can create more.
Messing around with style stuff. I dunno what i'm doing.

linz: this is my first step in achieving my dreams ;u;
So I think I'm gonna actually do this legit. Clean it up and everything.

plz put mature content warning in thread title
Should totally see if you can get a full version of Flash somewhere, 't is gud. Really gotta watch out with how much you let those lines wobble though, even though it's rough work.
Only redraw the moving parts to eliminate wobbly lines.

demon: what are dreams?
cake: i'm super sorry but then how would i get people to visit my thread?
sho: I might do the monthly payment thing for flash. uvu. It was just a quick hop into flash again test. Nothing super big.
heres the probably not final version:
here it is with both layers:

Good job you sick forking ice cream eating press-Y-to-collect-extortion-money sandvich finding son of a never-ending spinning back kick.
Adobe products alone cost anywhere from $200 - $1000. At $50 per month, you get access to every Adobe product, but after 4 - 8 months you'd have been better off just buying Flash alone ($200 - $400 depending on the seller). Add Photoshop in at $600 and Creative Cloud is a bad deal after a year and a half. Keep adding in more time for more programs if you use them.
Student pricing is lower ($30/month) but you can only be a student for so long before tuition empties your wallet.
Currently, I'd say Creative Cloud is only a good deal for people who use most of Adobe's products on a regular basis. If you just use one or two, buying the standalone products is more financially feasible.
04-25-2013, 12:26 PM
i'd be down for using most of adobe's products, but yeah I see what you mean. I'd probably only use the cloud for a couple months at most just during the summer where I'll have lots of time to dedicate to art stuff and other bojangles.
I dunno. Flash is great, but I'm not sure I'm ready to animate yet. I just do it for fun as a joke.
I've got 27 more days to decide what I want to do. (:

HOLY CRAP! That is awesome! I am just... wow! I'm guessing the hair must have taken a crap-ton of patience o-o
05-01-2013, 11:10 PM
total time on the whole thing is 8-12 hours i think. started it last night
05-01-2013, 11:56 PM
Daaamn, that style is dope. You should definitely do more of these, maybe even one in color?
05-02-2013, 12:05 AM
i've learned that color is only worth it if i have a wide range of colored pencils on hand. Even then its just meh.
i'm probably going to do one a day to deal with the large gap of time where i dont have internet
05-02-2013, 02:55 PM
Why not try marker, or paints, maybe even pastel?
05-02-2013, 05:21 PM
You did excellent capturing her beauty. It wrenches my heart out to see it, that's just how well you did.
05-04-2013, 12:55 AM

I'm more interested in where you learned this style in the first place. Rare to see anything quite like it. Unique as hell. I guess you could call it mosaic-y?...
It looks good is what I'm getting at, anyhow. Would be nice to see you branch out to more varied subject matter, maybe, but that's obvs your call dude. ;I
