View Full Version : Gabo's Junk: Some new stuff
Hey guys look new junk.
Doodled the other night in opencanvas with a friend. The perspective is a bit borked but I didn't really put much time into it. Also if anybody else has opencanvas feel free to hit me up for a drawing session.
Here's some sketches:
These are looking pretty neat. I seem to recall you being able to draw ultra-cute girls, though. Not that I'm trying to imply that you should post ultra-cute girls or anything.
I mean I can but it also seems that the moe art style I used to use was sort of ambiguous as far as specific details go, to the point where the overly large eyes and other exaggerated features actually detract from the intended expression rather than enhance it.
Basically I can draw cute girls but I am working on integrating it into a style I can actually enjoy rather than just making something pretty that doesn't do anything for me. Also it's pretty hard to make a really exaggerated manga style work well with the fact that I tend to gravitate towards heavily technical themes. It's possible it just takes some exploring of both sides of the spectrum, you understand.
I'll draw some though, why not.
I completely understand. I dropped my old moe style because I couldn't add any subtlety to facial expressions, and my writing was at the level where subtlety was starting to be uber-important.
Your current stuff is superb and I envy it.

Unfortunately I have only ever heard of rumors of these cute girls that you have drawn in the past :(
I really like the scenery at the top, and I think these new mechas you've been drawing are pretty damn epic :D looking forward to more :D
He's making a joke about his genitals.
Talking about genitals - Where's those risque pics we drew in OC, huhhhh? ;D ;D lmaoaooa jkjkjk. On a serious note, fabulous art you have here, Luke. Love the first one as i've already told you ;D. Can't wait to see more!!
