People always ask me what time i'll be on... but its hard for me to answer because i live in a different time zone... its also hard for me to estimate what time is most pleasant for people to chat especially now that i'm quite busy... OTL

so now i'm wondering if people could post their time zones so i got a generally idea when this site has most people... also a good resource to compare...

thing might be useful for others too...

my time zone is +8 gmt

btw... i'm not so familiar with other time zone codes...

Mountain Time.
Lucky 7 hours back.

Edit: Should this thread be in GD? There's no real discussion, but it's kind of a legit inquiry.

-5 GMT EST. But time is irrelevant to me because I have no job and I don't go to school so all day every day is free day.

Currently Mountain time zone, so UTC - 7.
Although we don't have Daylight savings time, so it kind of switches between MT and PT.

We should get everyone to post there time zone then map when MT is most active. I still don't get mine but if I remember correctly its -8 gmt.

The legitness of the thread being here is that it would get spammed in the CB and possibly lost most other places. Keep it on topic and think of something to expand into a discussion here.

I'm in Central Time but, Clock's right: What is time anyway?

Time is an illusion made and used by humans to perceive a sense of progression in the universe and (more modernly) to organize events past, present, and future.

I'm probably wrong, just sayin'.

Gawd, Cake. Add something to the -discuuuussioooonn-.

there is time as a cultural construct and time as a gravity effect. You can also use time as the simple past, present and future, historical time (lineal) and so on.

What about the theory that time is cyclice (sp)? I mean if you can gauge it in basic concepts such as past present and future...then wouldn't being in the present be moment just the same as being in the past & future simultaneously? I feel that chronological progression is just a way for 3rd party perspective to try and keep themselves 'synced' in the same perception of what we perceive as time.

Of course I DID do a LOT of mind altering drugs when I was younger...
