Has anyone here tried any of the drawing apps on tablets and whatnot? Personally, I have no real need for a tablet but I may get one just to have drawing apps I can quickly doodle, work on my painting CG skills and so forth.

This is the one that I've seen most people using on tablets and etc. I don't really know much about others, but I use this program a lot on PC. I don't know how it translates over to tablet.

I use sketchbook pro on my Lenovo Thinkpad tablet. Its really good for sketching and doodles, not so good for colouring or painting in my opinion as it can get a little clumsy. But I think if you get Samsung Galazy 10.1 you will get a better experience with Photoshop touch ( i lags really bad on my lenovo).

Yeah so, if you wanna get a tablet for sketching I highly recommend getting the sasung galazy note 10.1 as it has a fast processer and its a lot more stable then Lenovo thinkpad tablet.

:takes notes: OK, I'll take a look into 'em. Thanks! :3

Out of curiosity - anyone know if there are any free drawing apps out?

I think Paper by FiftyThree is free, you can buy more tools in app if you want but the basic tools that it comes with are good enough. It works pretty well too.
