hey guys new here :D
basically love to draw anything and everything eheh
especially cute stuff:p
i tend to be really impatient when it comes to drawing ._.
i would really like to improve my art so critic away! :D
10-30-2012, 03:39 AM
I must say I really, really like your style. Its very fun and cutesy. That being said (I don't know if it was intentional or not, if it is, I apologize.) You have this super thin upper body and a very, very thick lower body. Her hips and legs almost seem too big for her body. Her body is too out of proportion even for the cutesy look. Her feet are also strange looking (I don't blame you, I hate drawing feet too.) Now other than that, I love the colouring, the shading and the clothes. It is very well done just some minor proportional issues and the feet but great job. I like it!

man do I know impatience >.>
anyways, fucked up is not the right way to describe this. this is adorable :3
i would probably say (though i'm guilty of this too) would be to clean up your lineart before you colour
her thighs and legs in general are quite wide for traditional proportions, but that could be preference/style
other then that, i like it. not fucked up at all :)
10-30-2012, 06:42 AM
dude your sketches aren't fucked up, you should change the thread title man!
10-30-2012, 06:37 PM
lol you guys are being too kind xD!
wide hips? :D well there was this mmo game i used to play long back which had characters with really wide hips and super skinny body..
and i totally fell in love with it @_@
anyway i practiced drawing some feet/ hands they always give me trouble .___.
10-30-2012, 06:42 PM
These look awesome! No way are they fucked up xD with this most recent one I think the left hand looks a bit awkward the way it is positioned, and maybe slightly to small. You have a wonderful style, i'm jealous :P
Super thin bodies and wide hips? Just like Cloudy!
Your title is misleading. I came expecting gore or inflation or something like that, and was pleasantly surprised.
10-30-2012, 08:41 PM
Okay! Its your style. Now I feel slightly bad. It is a great picture. I like your style.
10-30-2012, 09:47 PM
Wth man, I dig these, I dig the style. What's up with the fucked up thread title?
11-04-2012, 02:35 AM
Come to the Cloudy side, embrace the big hips! pear shapes for the win! btw which game was it that had the style? I wanna check it out <33
11-27-2012, 11:16 PM

Mother of god... ;_____; it's lovely, too kewl for me to critique O_o I'm loving the castle and the landscape so far :)
11-27-2012, 11:56 PM
Gotta agree with Demon! That's really awesome!!
11-28-2012, 01:43 AM
looking good there :) the perspective of the castle is confusing me a little becuase the lines are so indistincted, but it makes it seem more ethreal, so more of an observation that a crit :3
11-29-2012, 06:24 PM
thnks guys :D
rabbitack: lol srry abt that didnt really give a shit abt perspective and stuff :/
fail sketch before bed (lisbeth)
11-29-2012, 08:50 PM
I don't know what your reference was, but I believe the lips are a little too low and the (our) right side of is bigger and rounder than the other side. Other than that I think it's a really cool piece!
11-30-2012, 01:59 PM
ywH i fucked up big time on that one :((
11-30-2012, 02:22 PM
Man I love these! They just have so much character in them, and the style of painting is fantastic. (i'm jealous) Honestly I don't think the previous picture was that messed up. The facial proportions may not be perfect/ideal, but people who look like that do exist. I think it's cool!
11-30-2012, 03:18 PM
I like the most recent one a lot. She don't give no f*ck :P I wish I had something useful to say...but I suck at doing art this style, so I've no suggestions.
01-04-2013, 02:54 PM
gawd its been a while since i posted anything here ._____.
happy new year :)
how have yall been?
(hope its alright if i post not anime related stuff too)

Im Su-jeong..man i must watched a ton of korean movies just for her ._.

01-04-2013, 03:13 PM
Dude.. i don't even.. words.. words? Where did you go?! Amazing! :D
01-04-2013, 04:23 PM
These are all lovely, I think the first one is off balance though.
Man these are really awesome.
01-07-2013, 12:45 PM
Everything's fabulous! One gripe i have is with the cat-woman portrait. Somehow her eyes look..........too low? It looks to me that if you took of her mask her eyes would be very weird. THe scenery stuff is pretty cool, but i really needed to focus to make out the second one, the first one is perfect! My favs are the Korean actress and the first one. Good stuff man.
06-12-2013, 03:58 PM
just realized i better stick to the thing i suck the least at O.O
so back to drawin~..and ty guys so many flaws..:/
06-12-2013, 04:48 PM
Those look awesome!! On the first, her hands are extremely small and her shoulders should be a LOT farther up (they just kinda appear out at the sides). On the second, Korra's mouth is too low on the face.
06-12-2013, 06:08 PM
I'm jealous of your abilities. "'Nuff said." Lol.
06-13-2013, 04:13 AM
@jjorgie: Omg how in the world did i not notice it? :monkey_shocked:..Even a giraffe's neck would seem to appear much smaller .__. confused @_@
eheh i found one of my initial sketches from 2011
and a wip i need to finish soon @_@
And a few more :D

06-23-2013, 04:47 PM
thanks wolfen :)
Well i was watching 'Only yesterday"...and it kinda reminded me of my childhood..the times i spent in the fields with my gramps, watching him as he worked..
The movie had some really nice soundtracks too.:)
Anyway i wanted to draw somethin while i was in the mood...so yeah hope you guys like it..still a lot to learn :/
06-23-2013, 04:55 PM
Very cute!! But the arms look incredibly long.
06-23-2013, 05:34 PM
@jorgie I thought so too..but couldnt get her arms to reach the ground x(( lol
06-23-2013, 05:57 PM
They do look a bit long, but it may just be an illusion or our eyes are mismatching proportions.
This may be due to the fact that her shoulders are in a very steep slump which can make them seem longer than they are, because they seem pretty proportionate to me. OR they could be contrasting with her legs, which would be a bit short if she stood up, compared to her arms. Either way, dig the style, you seem to try a lot of new things.
06-23-2013, 06:13 PM
Hmm, I would agree with the illusion that GunZ suggested, but I think it is also because the forearms are slightly elongated, which doubled up with the steep stooping really makes it seem that way. To be honest I think he could do with being stooped over a little further, and moving his back end out slightly; at least based on what I observed from some quick Google searching.
Cool stuff though, I like the colouring and the style :o and the girls with the two dragon heads on the previous post! :D
06-23-2013, 06:18 PM
gunz you were right...i extended the legs a bit
guess it kinda works
demon She not he ..guess i should have given her bigger boobs xD
07-02-2013, 05:21 PM
Had been busy with college stuff :/
it was time i did a one piece fanart :)
Nami..fanart :)..its a bit messy here and there :/ still a lot to learn :cat_panic:
The colours are lovely, but I think it would help bring out her profile if you defined the area underneath her nose a bit more. I know you do sometimes see a character's nose just hinted at like that, but I think it's slightly at odds with how realistic the rest of her body is.
07-03-2013, 09:03 AM
I agree with the above user about the face being a different style then the rest of the body. The background is you drew really sets the mood well but I feel the outlines you drew around the clouds and railing distract a bit from the beautiful colors. Since this was as you said a "bit messy" I'm sure you noticed some of this yourself. I look forward to seeing more from you.
07-04-2013, 08:52 PM
To be honest, I think you could do with removing all the lines and then relying on the values of the painting instead - as pointed out above. The lines and then the nice painting seem to conflict quite heavily, well... at least in my opinion. Really nice painting though, it does generate a really nice atmosphere about it, especially the colour choices and her pose c:
07-31-2013, 06:08 PM
Yeah am still trying to find a style that suits me.
This drawing was based on a poem my friend wrote.
It was quite a challenge but i learnt a lot.
As my college has come to an end finally..i will be able to be more active here on mt.:]
Is there a way to resize your image here? as it tends to blow up to its maximum size when i try to link the da version using the "img" quotes.
08-01-2013, 01:39 PM
Oh, I saw this on DA!!! It's absolutely beautiful! No critiques from me, sorry. :)
08-12-2013, 06:44 PM
Wow, that is looking incredible, I really like these paintings you have been submitting recently! The only thing I think worth mentioning is that I think the girl's jacket could do with some more orange hues from the artificial light in the alleyway. You see it strike the male strongly but there seems to be very little on the girl.
