Digitial vs. Physical screentone

So I had always planned on having all manga I do be completely physical, because sometimes I'm a snob.

It seems, however, that applying screentones digitally is leagues more convenient than doing it by hand.


Is the quality of digital screentones the same as physical, so that a professional can use digital and it's totally acceptable?

Depends on the screentone. I don't see why you don't use digital and physical ways to draw.

There's advantages and disadvantages to either one but essentially, doing manga (and using screentone) digitally is perfectly acceptable as far as I've seen it.

That's nice to read, because like I said I want to be as traditional as I can, but it seems like it'd be much easier to do digital screentone.
