I know for a while there a real life friend of mine and I
were so amped for this,
But blizz kept pushing it back more and more, well at least nothing official was announced until now.
It got to the point were It was getting pointless looking forward to it.
Since I have played Diablo 2 for seven years solid
now very rarely do I even sign in.


SO WHOS WITH ME!!???
anyone else excited for this and hoping it wont get pushed back?
I have never look forward to a game release until I found out d3 was in development.

I guess it all depends on what ya like to play.
I used to love first person shooters and fighting games.
but now I am all RPG.

I will probably going to have it ones the 3 expansions are out.

And I'm not interested in the game right now. Even so they have fixed some of my rants, I see that they will, probably, going to applicate most of its potential ones the expansions are out, kinda like with diablo 2.

They are pretty good, I still play Diablo 2 with exp sometimes. So you could try this one as your first.

Watched some gameplay of Diablo 3. It has now caught my eye. Though I'm also watching out for a game similar to the formula; Torchlight 2. But Diablo 3 looks a lot more grimey, I luv me some dark and grimey.

I think Diablo 2 and 1 are the grimmest (Diablo 3 looks less grimey but apparently is because a deal in design).

Give me LAN and an offline mode and I'll play. While I'm dreaming, how about asking for mods and the ability to pause?

Complaints aside, it's pretty cool that they've actually given a release date. I wonder if they'll push this one back too.

Torchlight 2 will have LAN offline play, but I believe you need to be online to play Diablo 3.

I told you its the first single player game to have lag. Its innovative. You just don't understand that blizzard is pushing the boundaries of game design.

and of marketing. With this people feel more anxious to play the game when they can't play it because is hammered, and they feel frustrated in the game ones they are in.

I read a post awhile back on The Escapist or somewhere like that that explained the always-online thing better than the standard "it's the future of gaming" or "it's to provide an optimal experience" or "because Auction House."

I still hated it. I still can't play the game. What's next? Exclusive digital distribution? Games that require 100mbps and less than 5 ping to play--single-player?

I doubt most games will go this route. It'll do nothing but hurt em. Though there is this big new thing where in order to play your game online, you have to have bought a new copy that comes with a little code thingy so that you can. But I mean, this only really bothers people who buy/borrow used copies, console gamers, and pirates.

I didn't think pirates had to deal with DRM. Like, when Ubisoft's servers go down, pirates can still play their single-player Assassin's Creed while the people who bought the game have to do something else.

So yeah, I've been playing since it came out. But I've been getting a little paranoid from all the hacking reports, so I don't play public games. D: I have a level 60 Demonhunter trying to clear Act 2 of Inferno at the moment. If anyone wants to play together send me a PM. :)
