Hey everyone!
i have been drawing for almost a couple of years now,
and mangatutorials.com is where i initiated my dream, where i sketched my first character after reading its tutorials. :]

There could be no better place to start a year and i wish to learn, share and continue to get better at what i love to do.
THANK YOU MT.

a couple of sketches i did lately.

@everyone : thank you :]
@ cloudy : stalking people / hidin in random bathrooms were a couple of stuff i really enjoyed back then until i took an arrow in the knee (skyrim) :p [gestures/anatomy/life study-it really helped :)]

anyway my pc crashed and it took me some time to be able to buy a new one...and hopefully i can get back to drawing and post some stuff on a daily basis.

some environment studies and a wip(aint finishing it) i did a few months back.

environment studies are friggin epic. but in the last one ( the girl ) it seems to me that her feet are almost the same size, even though she stretched her legs pretty far apart.

Man, it's so awesome when old members come back to let us see how much they've improved. Inspiration for everyone.

I feel like the girl's leg is in a position where the foot was meant to be facing forward and has instead decided to do something else entirely, and it gives me the impression that either her foot has become dislocated or her leg is breaking. Very nice shading on the jacket though. I like the way you've incorporated the cartoonish style with a more semi-realistic look. Shame you won't be finishing it.

As to the environmental studies, the first is very nice and vibrant. The second one is my favourite, as it feels very serene; however, it also looks a tiny bit flat. I like what you have attempted with the third, although I think the composition is a bit split down the middle, so that it's like I'm looking at two different pictures.

Very lovely work, especially on the "egyptian titties" tonal sketch, lol. I'm looking forward to seeing more.

The third environment study has got to be my favorite. Like was said earlier it feels split but I still like the tilt to the horizon, the vibrant colors and the dynamic contast very much :)

Question: When you paint do you start with a monochromatic underpainting or do you just start laying in color?

@Gedeon - Oh you are right! i knew somethin was off thanks :]

@indescribable -hey..thanks for pointing that out. ah right in the third envirnment the sky normally wont be blue.. will keep that in mind :)

@cypress- thanks mate :]

@kasey- i start out directly with colors. though i accept i find it really tough when coming up with a pallete :/ still trying to learn. and thanks :] i use a layer on top filled with black and blending mode set to saturation just to check if the values are comming out well.

Good god the environments are buetiful. I'd suggest you be careful with the size of the girls forehead though, it seems to extend along way up beyond where I think it should go.

Wow, these look great! I really can't say anything about them as they are both so good :O particularly the armour the woman in the bottom sketch is wearing, it looks awesome and so inventive :D

the quick sketch looks awesome....really like the tribal design on this. How quick was it?

Why you so negative, "-"Al? :o

Seriously through, these are pretty nice and deserve more views. I'm assuming a major reffie for the first, but it is still pretty damn skilled.

The tribal girl... Really damn nice design considering it was a quick sketch and all, not to mention that these sinister mad-maxian things are hard to pull off at an rate. I gotta say, through, perhaps there is something wrong with her neck? I can tell what you were going for, but it looks like her head should be sticking out alot further to me.

I really like the wispy strokes, it seems almost like your paintings are formed from mist :)

I think I want to see stuff in color as well as monochrome. It just looks cool.
