View Full Version : Voxatron Debuts Through Humble Bundle

Voxatron is out and for now the only way to get it is through the humble bundle system thing.

If you're not familiar that means you pay what you want and you can divide what you pay between the creators of the game and some charities and whatnot.

Game is rad, check it out.

The voxatron bundle now includes the binding of isaac. Fucking radical game, everyone should get it.

Urgh I am compelled but my inner jew says no ah what the hell I'll buy it

Voxatron is looking sick, I'm almost tempted to buy that pack....if I would ever play any of those games.

Is Voxatron multiplayer by any chance? It'd be rad to gun down your friends.

Donated $8. $3.50 to the Digital Frontier Foundation, $1.50 to Child's Play, $1 to each developer, fuck all to the Humble Bundle team.

EDIT: Voxeltron is great, but you need to be aggressive to win. Like, crazy aggressive.

I sent $10 to the producers. What's your point, Delphinus.

11-02-2011, 04:12 PM
What makes you think I was making a point...?

The point of posting is to have a point or communicate to someone your acknowledgement of their comment, not to show off "hey I did this exactly this way". I posted that I bought it so James could recognize he is too powerful

Completed Voxatron. Like 9,000 points, which is crap.

I haven't even played the game yet @_@
I don't think I will till I buy it for Jaidurn

Adventure mode is pretty tough but cool. Takes quite a lot of skill to beat it, and there's a couple of basic puzzles that I'd like to see more of. One thing I'd criticise is that the enemy patterns mean that luck and aggressiveness are favoured over any sort of strategy; another is that the shooting is difficult to change the angle of on the spot. Numpad fire or something would be nice.

Make a mod for mouse firing, then

Pretty sure it's in C or C++ or some other real man's language. You can't just mod those easily.

Uh yeah you can I made a Mass Effect GUI mod it was easy and I'm working on a personal DLC for the lulz just buy a giant encyclopedia on C# or C++ and learn that shit up

I picked up this bundle, Voxatron is pretty fun, very flashy, though it still feels unfinished(as it probably should) I'm interested to see what is changed in the final version.
