Hello there, my name is Dustycher.

So yeah, I'm not here to become a manga artist, mangaka or however it is called. I just like drawing, although I admitedly suck at it.

I've been thinking of creating comics and the like. I like creating stories and enjoy both comics and animation.

Yup, that's just about it.

you don't want to become a manga artisti, but you think in creating a comic, and both manga and comics are the same... then WTF?

Also, hey.

Not officially. I'll just take it up as a hobby.

Well, thanks. I already got a plot on the works, so my practise will be centered on the setting and characters involved.

If it helps, read my guide (it's in the tutorial section of the site) about introduction of storytelling and characters. It's not flawless but there are good points to see.

Flawless? No, but certainly helpful; every little bit helps, as they say.

Hey, welcome.

What genre of manga/comic are you working with?

Science fiction, mostly about action.

I might make a thread these following days.

Hey Dusty! Welcome to Manga Tutorials. If you're interested in making comics, have you read Scott McCloud's books? Understanding Comics, Reinventing Comics and Making Comics? If you haven't, they're basically the most recommended books for comic creators.

Sounds interesting; I'll give it a look.
