Wel lets start with an standard introduction:
A/S/L/STD
25/M/NL/None :P

Now thats out of the way a lil bit about drawing:
i've read a few mangas, but i preffere animé atm, ive started drawing manga style it a bit, but my creates are butt ugly if i am frank.
most tutorials on this site have been read already but i preffere to learn while doing stuff so i started watching anime, pauze it, and try to draw that one over (hoping id learn the basic's that way).
Is that frowned upon on this site? xD or has someone a better way to learn through practice?

Hope ill learn a lot from this forum and website

You forgot to add that you like long walks on the beach. ;p

As far as I'm concerned, you can learn in whatever method works for you. What we really frown upon is if you steal someone else's work and claim it as your own. So copy with pride and just make sure you credit your source. And welcome!

Hey man, welcome to MT.
Tracing can sometimes be helpful, but I find that I improve a lot faster if I look at a picture/object and just try to copy it without tracing directly over the picture. It helps me to get a feel for the lines that I can't really achieve by tracing -- but that's just me.

Also, if you would like some help with your art you may want to make an art thread in the Artist Alley. You'll get a much better response there, as this place is generally just for you to introduce yourself.
