uhh...when i go to the draw page all that comes up is a black box with the widths beside it and some other stuff....i need help Sad

Hey Guest, when you're there you pick which one you want to use the Shii Painter or Shii Painter Pro and wait for the drawing to beginning. I think??????

Okay, maybe I should give a mini-tutorial on it. Anyways, here goes:

1) Click on the Draw link. Make sure you're logged in first, of course.

2) A black square image should pop on the right. It's the sample image size.
To the left of it is the Width and Hieght boxes. Enter the width and Height of the canvas you would like to draw on. Default is 300 for each. In the pharenthasis are the maximum and minimum size the canvas can be. If you want a different size, just enter it in the field and hit the "Resize" button.
After you're done resizing the canvas you want, click on either "Shii Painter Doodle" or "Shii Painter Pro doodle".

3) This is where the applet should run and a box should show up with scroll bars on the sides (if the image is big) and several boxes to the right with options for pencil/brush/spray, colors, and other graphic software type features.

When I tried it out just now, it didn't go to #3. It was fine when I tested it out. Hmm, I'll have a looksee...

For some people, this may the solution to their problem:

1) You need Java to execute the Shii painter applet. For those of you who doesn't have Java, you can get it here: Download Java Make sure you restart your computer after you install Java.

2) It is best if you get the latest browser possible so it can handle the applet.

3) Make sure your browser allows it to play Java applets. On Internet Explorer, go to your "Internet Options" (under "Tools"), click on advanced, scroll down to the bottom, and under "Java", it should be checked off. It requires you to restart your computer.

If none of the above works, give me a holler.

when i log in it's aiad you are succesfully logged in, you may now get back to oekaki, but if i click there i ain't logged in nomore...

ok that problem is allready fixed...but now i've got a new one...:S
when i want to draw i see a blackbox, i click on one of those shii painters my pc asks "do you want to restore the temporary applett?"
to be honest i'm not sure what it means...so i tried yes and no..
but i stay at the site "tips for shii(pro)users"
i just don't get it!!!! Crying or Very sad

got your work cut out for ya, huh rio. I think that's mabye why we don't have many people drawing on the boards cause they have to come all the way to the forums and run across the link in here. so put up the link on the home page(and every other page for that matter) so mabye we can get some more artists. Of course I'm sure you already knew that, didn't you Rio?... lol
