wouldn't matter, I do alot of 11 by 17 work, and i wouldn't know where to find scanners for those.

I haven't drawn anything, ok well I have done only 1 real drawing, everything else has been sketches at best.

My workspace is everywhere I take my little black portal desk, yea its horrible, but I stick to a design setup. Everything I need is to the right of me. The world I am working to get into is the world of the golden age of illustration; classical realism a world I am lucky enough to be taught into currently.
