We all know that the term "Art" and "Artist" is vague when describing one. Most people automatically think painter, sculptor, or even singer when they hear the phrase or word, but "Art" is a living Entity with in itself; forever living growing, and changing. It may be going this way one second, but automatically up and turn left or right the next. So the question I pose before you is what kind of artist are you, and please say something more than just manga or anime type of artist. Even on this form dedicated to those styles; we do have diversity.

As anyone from the old forum knows I am a struggling 3- D modeler using modo, and now starting to work in Blender so when I am good enough at hard surface and architectural pieces I can try and make a little money off of floor plan models. If things go the way I plan them to then I will no longer be majoring in game art and design, but instead be majoring in concept art and illustrations. I would like to be a generalist modeler in 3-d, but my heart belongs to the pencil and paper of 2-d and will love to master drawing scenes and characters using value and very little contour. Ultimately I would like to master both 2-D, 3-d (character and hard surface modeling, photoshop painting, and rigging as well as animations before I die.

But I mainly rock raster digital art.

Im a textile artist.

I'm not really an artist.

I kind of draw some really crappy stuff sometimes, but that's about it.

And I write news stories.

But other than that...

Mostly a pencil/traditional artist. I do digital stuff as well, but due to the fact that work (including the time it takes for travel) takes up roughly 70~80% of my day, I don't really have the time. (~_~")
